Earth Prayers are constructed drawings, like prayers, involving repetitive rituals. Each is made with and of paper, natural tannin-rich inks, dyes, and minerals, weathering, piercing, folding and gluing until a sort of uncertain certainty and quirky harmony is reached. Each construction is scrutinized and reconsidered almost daily until it speaks… and then finally assembled. (select Prayers from larger series shown)
